9.6.4 Test field calibration of a serial survey camera
This example shows a combined adjustment with 14 photographs. Its purpose is camera calibration. The average flying height is 500 m, average scale 1:3300. All object points are signalised. Survey measurements were made at the same time as the photogrammetric flight. The photo coordinates were measured in a precise mono-comparator.
The area is an ending slope of an open cast working. The considerable height differences combined with four different flight directions allow a very good camera calibration with this data set.
