9.5 Recovering after a system crash

The adjusted point unknowns and photo unknowns are written in an intermediate ITERA file named itera.tmp after each iteration. At the end of the adjustment with BINGO, this file is deleted automatically. This file will be kept even in case of a program break, e.g. due to a power cut-off or running out of disc space during inversion of the normal equation.

For the adjustment of large networks, with long computation times, we therefore recommend copying this file to the ITERA file, in order to save as many of the computations as possible.
