10. Interpretation of results

It will rarely be possible to achieve perfect results at the first attempt. Therefore detection of large and small data errors, and model errors, is very important. This error detection is strongly supported by BINGO. After errors have been eliminated, the results must be reviewed for precision and reliability.

In a first step, those formal errors must be eliminated which have been recognised and notified by the program. Appropriate error messages will appear in the corresponding LIST file. Detailed information on reasons for and elimination of such errors is given in Chapter 11. In addition to the messages, the following remark is written in the job record or will be displayed on the screen:
