10.1.5 Residuals, data-snooping and variance-component estimation
Image measurements are listed separately, point by point, in the sequence defined by optimisation. Locally neighbouring points will therefore also be printed in the list as neighbouring points. Data errors are then easier to find: If several consecutive points show large residuals a common influence can be assumed, i.e. as a first assumption, only one error in this region.
All corrections of photo measurements for a point will be listed if one of its residuals or one of the check values w of the photo measurements is larger than the defined limit. The same applies if the redundancy of a single photo measurement is smaller than the chosen limit.
Survey measurements and photogrammetric observations and conditions will be listed in the sequence of data input, separately for each observation series. Contrary to photo measurements, each measurement is considered separately. Each line contains one observation. The type of observation is given in column TYPE. The columns NO.1 and NO.2 have different meanings, according to the type of observation.
For further remarks and examples of this output, see also Section 10.2.4. The following Table 10.1-1 explains the meaning of columns TYPE. NO.1 and NO.2.
