CORD Approximate coordinates for adjustment points
Columns | format | contents/explanation |
|---|---|---|
1-4 | A4 | CORD |
5-20 | A16 | Point name |
21-30 | F14.0 | X : Easting |
If the approximate coordinates of a point cannot be computed by intersection from image measurements, the coordinates must be given in a CORD or CONT statement.
Since an iterative adjustment is performed, gross approximations are sufficient. Then, however, correct relative position of the various points is important.
