General
This new Bingo release requires a modern workstation with 64-bit windows operating system and INTEL CPU which supports AVX (Advanced Vector Extensions).
New compiler versions have been used to create the BINGO programs. As a result there is again a better speed.
All programs are now 64-bit versions. The only exception is GeoinEdi which cannot be transferred to a 64-bit version.
Many small remaining issues from transferring all BINGO programs to 64 bit versions have been solved in this revision. Thanks to all users for reporting recognized problems.
This revision requires an update of the licenses in all BINGO dongles. We will send the update files automatically to all maintenance customers.
All ini-files for the BINGO tools are now assembled in a ..\Bingo\bin\ini\ directory. These ini-files (and only these) may be deleted at any time.
All BINGO help files are now located in ..\Bingo\bin\help\ directory. These files are ASCII files and can be easily printed, translated or changed to fit user’s needs.
